"Advanced directives" such as living wills, a "will to live," and durable power of attorney for health care are explained in a brochure available from The Christian Life Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention (901 Commerce, #440, Nashville, TN, 37203-3696). The straightforward brochure, entitled "The Sanctity of Human Life: A Time to Live, A Time to Die: Advance Directives and Living Wills" is particularly suitable to inform patients or church members about these options and as the title implies is written from a strong sanctity of life position.
